Sazerac was recently awarded the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator Magazine. The magazine described Sazerac’s wine list as a “well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.”

In the May issue of Sky Mall, Sazerac was featured as a hot spot to visit in the Pacific Northwest with information about our Saturday workshops, hosted by Executive Chef Jason McClure, where you can learn to make dishes such as spiced lamb meat-balls and brown beer-and-onion-soup.

The write-up in Lala Travels discussed how “Sazerac’s tag line rings true-serious fun and damn good food.  The happy hour is one of the best in town with incredible $2 food, serious drinks and swingin’ atmosphere.”

Out Traveler featured our quarterly Little Bit of Lovin’ workshop hosted by Executive Chef Jason McClure saying, “If you like the flavors of Sazerac, Hotel Monaco’s Southern-themed culinary delight in downtown Seattle, there’s nothing stopping you from trying it at home.  Kimpton’s sultry Sazerac is cooking up a storm with its popular, quarterly Little Bit of Lovin’ cooking classes.”

The star of ‘The Bachelor,’ Jason Mesnick was shot having lunch at Sazerac in People’s ‘Caught in the Act’ weekly feature.

Seattle Times featured Sazerac’s Happy Hour menu and bartender saying, “Sazerac has always featured a salivating happy-hour menu... it just rolled out a new $2 menu with some sophisticated fare.  Grilled Dates en Brochette with Smoked Bacon and Goat Cheese.  The big news is that up-and-coming Sazerac mixologist Kelly McGilvray has created a new cocktail menu.”

In 2008 Sazerac was named one of Seattle Times Best Bites.
